The Hall of Fame has released the list of preliminary nominees. This list is then cut down to 25 and then the next class of HOFers is announced the day before the Super Bowl.

Former Dolphins on the list include WR Gary Clark, WR Mark Clayton, WR Mark Duper, coach Jimmy Johnson, QB Bernie Kosar, G Bob Kuechenberg, LB John Offerdahl, CB Ken Riley, RB Thurman Thomas and administrator George Young.
