11/24: Derrick Pope Hospitalized

From Sun-Sentinel.com: Dolphins linebacker Derrick Pope missed today's practice because he was taken to the emergency room at Jackson South Community Hospital earlier this morning for unknown reasons. The extent of his injury, if there is one, isn't clear, but the Dolphins are preparing to play in Pittsburgh on Monday without him. "We're gathering information. Obviously Derrick's somebody that we care a lot about. I'll find out more but I don't want to speculate on what the situation is," coach Cam Cameron said after practice. People are human beings, and they get sick sometimes. ... "In this situation, I'm telling you it's not anything perverse, without going into any more detail. He's fine." Glad he's fine.
