09/21: Zach May Have Had Concussion in Cowboys Game; Could Miss Jets Game (and Maybe More)

Thomas, 34, who once pondered retirement after suffering a series of concussions early in his 12-year career, told Dolphins coach Cam Cameron that he was "lightheaded with some symptoms," after Sunday's loss to the Cowboys, Cameron said. Thomas hasn't practiced all week due to migraine headaches, and on Thursday he visited with a neurologist for further evaluation. From MiamiHerald.com: ''It was hard for me to know there was something wrong with him because he played the whole game,'' teammate Joey Porter said. ``But he kept asking for another mouthpiece. A brand new one is harder. I guess when you have a concussion, if you feel something tight in your mouth, you can't bite down as hard.'' Scary stuff.
