From Omar Kelly: According to an NFL source, the Saints are working feverishly to retain quarterbacks coach Pete Carmichael Jr., who was offered the Dolphins offensive coordinator position over the weekend.
The possibility that Carmichael Jr., who was pursued last year by then head coach Cam Cameron for the same job, will turn down the Dolphins for the second straight year has prompted the team's decision makers to continue the search, exploring other candidates to run the offense.
